Workout Classes: Organized classes, from yoga to barre to Pilates, are a great way to create a plan and stick to it, especially with the help of a professional trainer. There are lots of great places in our neighborhoods where you can take classes, explore the area. Not to mention, classes are a great way to meet new workout friends who will help you stay motivated!

Outdoor Activities: As the most mountainous state in the U.S., Nevada offers a multitude of hiking and outdoor opportunities. But you don’t have to go far — since Vegas is surrounded by mountain ranges, you can take a gorgeous hike whenever you want. Lone Mountain Trailhead, Calico Basin Trail, and Red Spring Picnic Area are a few fun trails to enjoy spectacular scenery while breaking a sweat.

Make Meals at Home: With nutritious ingredients bought from nearby grocery stores, as well as a general meal plan, you’ll be on your way to cutting calories, feeling healthier, and leading a more active lifestyle with at-home prepped meals. Whether you meal prep for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, your stomach will thank you!

Walk: One of the easiest and most accessible forms of exercise, walking has an incredible effect on both your mental and physical health. Make a pact with yourself to walk as opposed to drive whenever you have the chance — take a stroll to your morning coffee shop, walk your dog for a longer period of time, or try walking to work or to any outings (if it’s possible). Even if you want to stay as local as can be, you’ll love how refreshed you feel after a nice walk around your American West home and community!
